1. Information You Give Us
We collect the information you give us directly: when you request a shipping quote, send the contact form, write to us in the live chat, apply for a job, or e-mail us. This includes your name, phone number, e-mail address and the details of your request.
2. Use of Information
We use this information to answer you, prepare quotations, provide and improve our services, and process job applications. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
3. Data Protection
We take reasonable measures to help protect information about you from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access.
4. Visit Statistics
We count visits to improve this site, with our own system and no outside analytics service. For each visit we record: the pages opened; the page or campaign link you came from; how long each page stayed open and how far it was scrolled; whether a call, WhatsApp, e-mail or chat button was pressed and where on the page it was; the site language; the browser, operating system and device type; and the approximate country, region and city worked out from your IP address (we look these up on our own server; when our own database has no answer, we ask an outside location service, geojs.io, about your network’s address range with the last part removed, which points to about 256 addresses rather than to you). Your IP address itself is not stored. We keep only a coded form of it, made with a secret key held on our server and changed every day, and we use it only to tell visits apart; we never try to turn it back into an address. Each visit gets a random number that stays in your browser tab and is deleted when you close it. If you send a quote request or a message, it is linked to that number so we can see which pages led to it. If your browser sends a "Do Not Track" or "Global Privacy Control" signal, your visits are not counted.
5. Cookies and Browser Storage
We use no advertising or tracking cookies. The site may set one cookie that remembers the language you chose. The visit number and the page you arrived from are kept in your browser tab only, and are deleted when you close the tab.
6. Who Can See This Information
The information is used by Truck World’s team. BrightWebPath, which builds and runs this website for us, can also see it while maintaining the site. It is stored on the servers of our hosting provider. Messages you send us also pass through the e-mail service we use to send and receive them. geojs.io receives only the shortened address range described above, and only when our own location database has no answer.
7. How Long We Keep Information
The site does not delete visit records, quote requests or messages automatically. We keep them for as long as we need them to serve you and improve our service, and older records may be moved to our secure backups.
